I started my journey almost 20 years ago when I was asked to go on a mission trip with the high school youth. This was life-changing for myself and also my family as we all have spent many years planning and attending yearly mission trips. As youth director at Sycamore UMC, I started programs for the youth that include church services, breakfast and devotions, youth group, Bible studies, confirmation, local mission work, and more. In 2016 I felt God was calling me into the ministry full-time and I was given the opportunity to serve the congregation here at Grace as lead Pastor. My family and I have felt loved and welcome since the first day we came. This is a great church to be part of with so many caring and inviting people serving God.

Joe has been married for 25 years to his wife Amy, and they have three children, Zach, Whitney, and Kailey, joining them at Grace.
